Where is your collection produced?

Accepted Answer

Our products are produced in different countries, like the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and China. The factories we work with have authorized social audits, such as a BSCI audit. This means that all working conditions are good and safe. Think of: a clean workplace, normal working times with breaks, normal hours, and factories that have air conditioning .

What do you do, to keep the CO₂ emissions as low as possible?

We compensate for the CO₂ emissions that come from all of our transport rides from and to our shops, and corporate flights with Tree For All. Within the Netherlands, Trees For All is seen as a recognized charity with a CBF recognition. They plant forests all over the Netherlands and abroad for a better climate, more biodiversity and healthy living conditions. For the transport rides in Enschede, where are headquarters and distribution centre are located, we have developed an electric cargo bike to supply our 2 shops in Enschede, from the warehouse.

In what sort of way is your energy supply regulated?

Accepted Answer

All of our locations, like our stores, distribution centre and headquarters, are warmed with sustainable mechanisms (by means of a heat pump or district heating). All of the locations also use LED lighting. Additionally, we make use of completely separated waste streams in all of our locations.

Do you support charities?

Accepted Answer

In 2019 we have founded the Guts Foundation. We support all sorts of projects and charities that are focused on making the living situations of children and young adults better and keeping our planet livable. Question 5

Will my package be delivered in a sustainable way?

Accepted Answer

All of our packages will be sent from door to door in a sustainable way, with a net of zero CO₂. This means that all of the CO₂ emissions that Post NL can't reduce are compensated by investing in sustainable projects. Additionally, they have started driving electric motors more and making use of clean fuels. When they can, they deliver the packages by bike.
